Amsterdam Work

 Going Dutch

In the summer of 2024, I took a temporary contract to run the creative department of Zerotrillion Amsterdam.

A big part of that was looking after YETI Europe, handling their output across channels.

So plenty of lovely outdoor shots like that skier.

But I was also fortunate enough to make a bunch of other fun stuff in that time too.

Below is a selection of the work I wrote and oversaw in my first six months.

When Nature Calls

Amsterdam is a city packed with expats. Many from far flung places. It’s an expensive place to live and with rising travel costs, many simply stay put over the holidays.

So, to offer them some solace, we partnered with local wellness brand and Smartshop, When Nature Calls, to release a range of psychedelics aimed at giving them a Trip Home.

We took inspiration from the world of travel for the design. Vintage plane tickets were referenced for type and line systems - we then created otherworldly landforms to form out graphic backdrops by mixing real mushroom oil with watercolours. Each jar came with instructions written as postcards - the type was set to mimic a more structured trip.

Read my interview about it here.

Maats Cycling

Maats are a cult brand in the Dutch cycle scene. And very nice chaps to boot.

This was a campaign we made for them to promote one of their social events.

Pretty dumb.

Shot and directed in the in-house studio.

Ticketswap

My first project when I landed was to write this punchy OOH campaign for Ticketswap.

Fairness and honesty is TS’s big thing.

So, accordingly, the OOH didn’t smooth the edges on what they thought about the world of ticketing.
